There was a man at my church, a lawyer, who helped my family with a problem. The results that he achieved were inspiring, and my parents were very happy as a result of this man’s help. I was about 12 or 13 years old at the time. That memory inspired me when it was time to choose a career. Like that man in my memory, I wanted to help people solve their problems. So, I became an attorney. I have had a very rewarding career. I enjoy finding the many ways people can be helped and relieved of their burdens. One case I particularly remember. The case was being tried out of town. My family came into town so we could celebrate my son’s birthday together. It was an anti-trust suit we won after five weeks in court. In the future, I would like to work on non-subscriber claims involving people injured at work.
